My thoughts on the book: I’m a religious person, I believe in Heaven and I attend church, though not as often as I should. I found this book enlightening and at times amusing. Hearing about Heaven from a three year old’s perspective is amazing. I found myself thinking through the book that this story must be made up (even though is is an entirely true story) I can’t imagine that any person alive on earth has been to heaven and came back. I suppose it happens though. People die and are brought back all the time. It’s strengthened my faith though, and it’s reassuring to know that when I die, I’m indeed going to Heaven. I don’t care about the beauty and the streets of gold. Meeting Jesus and seeing my passed family members, though. I’d give anything to see my sister again, my Mamaw… Heaven is still a mystery to us. But this book gives us a glimpse and in my opinion, was entirely too short.
